My NEW Favorite Site
I was recently introduced to www.Inhabitat.com by Madplum Creative, the talented team who created my website. Jill Fehrenbacher, Inhabitat founder, writes on the site that she created "Inhabitat in the Spring of 2005 as a way to catalog her endless search for new ways to improve the world through forward-thinking, high-tech, and environmentally conscious design." Even though most of the fashion does not fit my more conservative style, I enjoy reading the magazine as I have discovered original designs like "Deborah" the recycled airplane wing desk, the bird feeder by Amy Adams or the botanical plantable greeting cards by Botanical Paperworks, the birth announcements are cute and what fun to be able to plant it rather than throw it away. But rather than go on about my favorites, I invite you to explore the site to find yours; happy hunting!
